About this site
The original Bauche family website was built around the family’s 100th anniversary in Canada: its title was “1909 Bauche Family 2009”. A family database compiled by a family member was published as web pages in May 2013. This redesign keeps that history, adds the photographs and place context, and makes it work on a phone. [S1][S3]
Help us complete the story
- Photographs — scan or photograph them, and note who is in them, where, and roughly when.
- Documents — certificates, passenger lists, letters, obituaries, memoirs, recipes, anything with a name and a date.
- Memories — stories you were told, even if you are not sure of the details. We will mark them as oral history.
- Corrections — if a date, spelling or relationship is wrong, tell us what the right version is and how you know.

Privacy statement
Living people are not named on the public edition, and recent photographs showing them are kept in a private family edition. A person is shown only if the records show them as deceased or born more than 110 years ago. If you would like someone added, hidden or corrected, write to us and we will act promptly. We do not publish addresses, telephone numbers or other contact details of private individuals.
